FSL 1

Due to the shutdown of the Moodle archive on 31 August 2024, the FSL1-MAP submission course has been moved to the new Moodle system. You can find the course under the following link https://moodle.uni-wuppertal.de/course/view.php?id=20326. All submissions made up to and including 01/08/2024, as well as all existing assessments, have been transferred to the new course. You therefore do not need to do anything else and can upload your outstanding submissions to the new Moodle course. If you have any questions or queries, please contact Gunnar Bruns(gbruns[at]uni-wuppertal.de).

The final module examination FSL1 ("Didactics and Methodology in Special Needs Learning", sub-programme Special Needs Learning, Master of Education - Teacher Training in Special Needs Education) is a folder consisting of a total of four parts. You upload the individual parts of the portfolio at a time of your choice in the "MAP FSL1" moodle course. You do not have to register with the ZPA for the final module examination (MAP). Instead, you register during the lecture.

This MAP contains a total of four individual assignments: one assignment for each of the three seminars (FSL1a, FSL1b, FSL1c) as well as an overarching transfer assignment. The assignments can be found in the respective section of the module component in the Moodle course. Please note the following points:

  • Hand in the respective assignment in the section of the lecturer with whom you have taken the module - the lecturer will carry out the assessment. In each seminar-specific assignment section in the Moodle course, you will find a list of lecturers from previous semesters. Please upload each of the four assignments individually as a separate document in PDF format via the submission activity of your lecturer in the corresponding section of the Moodle course "MAP FSL1".
  • Each of the four submissions should have its own cover sheet; on the cover sheet of the transfer assignment, please state the names of all three lecturers with whom you have attended the three seminars (FSL1a, b and c).
  • You can submit the assignments at any time, i.e. spread them over several semesters. However, you can only submit the transfer task once you have uploaded the other three seminar-specific parts. The assessment of these three seminar-specific parts does not need to be available yet.
  • There is no submission deadline (however, agreements in individual seminars may deviate from this rule). However, there are so-called assessment corridors (see below), which indicate by when you can expect your work to be recognised.
  • The examination is only considered complete once the transfer task has been submitted and the work is only then sent to the ZPA.
  • 30 points are awarded per subtask, so a total of 120 points are possible. A total of at least 60% (72 points) is required to pass the entire MAP.
  • The portfolio is credited with 11 CP as a total achievement, partial achievements cannot be recognised or credited. Accordingly, it is not legally possible to revise individual parts of the portfolio.

Assessment corridors: Assessment takes place in two assessment corridors per year. All work that has been submitted in full to Moodle by a deadline (1 February and 1 August of each year) will be assessed by the relevant examiners within approx. 6 weeks. If a portfolio section is submitted after this date, it will not be assessed until the following assessment period. By choosing these times, we are accommodating you in that this is the latest possible time so that you will receive your grades in time for the preparation of your certificate for the start of the next traineeship phase.

Important information: As part of the reaccreditation of the degree programme, this examination modality will change, so the procedure described above expressly only applies to the current examination regulations (PO 2017).
