SPF 5
The final module examination for the module SPF5 (specialisation in learning) is a written examination of 120 minutes. The exam is written at the end of the respective semester. You do not have to register for the exam at the Central Examination Office. Instead, you will register during the lectures.
The examination content relates to the two lectures SPF5a (maths) and SPF5c (German/language). This is a so-called open book exam, i.e. you may bring all materials to the exam (e.g. printouts, texts, books, slide sets, transcripts). However, all electronic devices (e.g. laptops, tablets, smartphones, smartwatches) are prohibited. The use of such devices during the examination will result in the immediate cancellation of your examination and the reporting of suspected cheating to the Examination Board.
As is usual in open book exams, we will not ask you reproductive questions about the lecture content. Instead, we ask you application questions, i.e. you have to apply the reproduced content to something (e.g. practical examples). The exam usually consists of numerous questions in multiple choice format as well as a few open questions, which you should answer briefly and concisely.
There are two parts of the exam (maths and German/language) with 20 questions per part. The number of points you can achieve per question is indicated after each question. To pass the exam, you must have achieved at least 50% of the points in each of the two parts. It is therefore not enough to prepare for only one of the two lectures. The points achieved are added together and transferred to a grade. We will send your grade to the Central Examination Office after the exam.
